His Excellency Chrysostomos was Founding Member of the Cyprus Neuroscience & Technology Institute in 1991 and served as Exo-ficio Member of the Board. As Bishop of Paphos, he hosted the “Perpectives in Motor Control” Conference in 1986 co-organized by Profs. H.D. Henatsch, J. Meyer-Lohman, U. Windhorst and Y. Laouris. Following the very successful implementation of this conference he donated 100 hectars of land to CNTI. Unfortunately, it has neve ben possible to use the land for the envisioned purpose of building a specialized univerity and neuroscience and technology labs.
